White Christmas
hey all. been forever but hope you've all had a good xmas. i'm in hong kong right which puts me 13 hrs ahead of indy time so it's the day after xmas. unfortunately, china doesn't celebrate xmas so i missed out there. but i did see snow cuz i went to peking to see the great wall, forbidden city, tiennamen square (which is actually pretty in a way), and other places where the king spent his time doing stuff...lol..can you tell i didn't pay too much attention to those. i just can't be into history if i don't know it which pretty much puts me in the non-interested category when they start talking bout chinese dynasties and who did what when who ruled and such.
but the great wall was cool. climbed all the way to the top and back after a very tiresome 40 minutes. of course the wall is really long so i didn't walk the whole thing, but i walked as far as you can go which was plenty for me. my legs still hurt from it and i walked it two days ago!!! another nice thing about the trip was that i stayed in a five star hotel...so nice...wish it could always be like that.
but now i'm back in hong kong where it's a nice temperate 65 degrees...ahh...no snow here for xmas. but that's ok, cuz i've had enough of cold weahter for the 4 days that i was peking. it was some -7 degrees celsius at some point and i was outside in the cold walking around listening to a chinese guide talk about how the king spent his money and such. lol. not the most interesting thing for a 6 year old. but anwayz, got 10 more days before i go back to the US. you guys would love all the cheap stuff that they have here...so many cute things and they're so cheap!!!! hope you have a nice xmas.
AH! It's the vicious rabbit! (Who apparently has 3 teeth!)
