WOO! for Olivia posting. Now, as for you Academy people... *glare* We wanna hear about you guys, too!!

Anyway, now that our ever-present nagging fest has ended, I can share my thoughts on life. And people. Or not!

However, I am a bit mad that the Europe trip meetings are ALWAYS scheduled on days when I can't go. Do they have them on Tuesdays or Wednesdays or Fridays? Nope. They have to hold them on Mondays at 7 - when I'm smack-dab in the middle of violin lessons - or, like next week's meeting, on Thursdays at 7 - the same day I start my Japanese lessons. I only have 6 days of lessons, and the first one is crucial!! And I especially don't want to miss any of them because I paid the 100-odd bucks myself! What the crap?!?! And this has to be one of the "more important" trip meetings, of course. Grrr....

I got a B+ on my research paper because I had one contraction and one comma that should not have been there. Double grrr... Even with the B+, I got an A for the final and an A for the semester, but think of what I could have had with an A on the paper. I'm already getting a B+ in PreCal ( :( ) and who-knows-what in physics. Thank goodness for safety classes like orchestra (125% every six weeks!) and etymology (99% semester, plus skip-a-final!) and N* (although we found out that yes, you can get a B in there...). So, 2 A+'s, 3 A's, 1 B+ and whatever I get in physics... I think I'll be okay. (By the way, all of this info is for my own benefit, as well as possibly Jane or whoever else actually cares about my schoolwork.) Stupid IB people who get so much AP weight they could top me... :P I LOVE YA, ASH, DESPITE OF IT ALL! Haha...

In regards to AM.com, for those who have asked me about it, yes, I do intend to keep that up as much as I can. No, I'm not ruling out relationships in the future - I just want a complete break from all the drama and emotion. NO! MORE! BAD! BAD FOR AM! NO GOOD!

You guys, I just tried to spell "flys" instead of "flies." Three-day weekend, here I come!

Congrats, everyone, on making it through finals (especially the Interdisc oral final, which caused much stress for everyone involved...until the actual event, that is) and 2 1/2 (or 3 1/2, for you seniors who read this) semesters of high school! Juniors, can you believe we only have a year and a half left!? I still remember us as petite freshmen...man, when you see pictures and videos of us we look like the youngest things ever! Now we're almost at the top! :-D

Brace yourselves for second semester...it's going to be super busy, at least for me. Rehearsals for Grease start next week, and almost every weekend from now until May I am doing something choir related, whether it is a rehearsal, competition, show, or trip (YEAH NYC! early spring break for choir dorks!). And Interdisc is just getting started... I can sense the craziness already!

I think I was going to say something else important, but of course I've forgotten now. Have a good three day weekend!

"Gone"

Well, OMAS has been going through a dry spell, now, hasn't it? So much for holiday cheer!

Well, it's 2005, which means that OMAS won't celebrate its first birthday for another 4 months and 5 days. (Our baby's getting older!) In light of the new year, I'm going to do a Compendium-esque post that, while it summarizes the past "year" (which is more like 8 months), it won't recap everything. Besides, OMAS is a side production of Compendium - who cares if it isn't original? Haha! But it will be MY style of recapping, so we'll see how it goes.

*deep narrator voice* At 11:14 p.m. on May 8, 2004, the always beautiful, happy (and sometimes cynical) Jane posted the landmark first-ever OMAS post, her calm and wise words of maturity ringing throughout the land of Internet: wheeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, followed by btw.... The Labyrinth was created by crackheads!!! Then came the dirty-dancing fiend Ashley, and with a fashionably late entrance came the Asian slut, Amaris. Only later would she wonder why she was the only one keeping her nickname on the board.

May, continued: YouNa joins!!! The couch of love becomes not-so-funny. Or not. Ash starts driving. Jokes concerning Crashley ensue. Ash has IB service hour stress. Jane disses The Labyrinth, much to everyone's dismay. Well, except Am's. Jane first uses the nickname "MBoy II." Ali joins!!! Am starts her "Question of the Day." People actually respond. (Dang. At least she's not the only one without a life.) Ash and Am experience a horrible and worthless honors ceremony. Even the pictures didn't turn out. Everyone hates chem. Ash is annoyed with easy French stuff. N* watches Titanic three times. Ugh. Leo's barely cute the FIRST time. Ash died and came back to life. Darn Jonah! Olivia joins!!! Choir concert. Ash's basement floods. (turkey sounds) Burgle, burgle. Ash's mom buys Am a self-help book on dating. *sigh* Wonder what THAT was for? *hums a certain song from Pajama Game* Ash's dad sends her a card. Ziggy lives vicariously through the cats. Ash turns 16!!! Really-impromptu surprise party! WOO! Who cares about choir banquets when you can have Jane yelling "Alison?!" Everyone rambles on and on about their classes and finals and school in general. Am went to a KC Weekend event in Ashley, Ohio and shared a $20 KFC meal with Janice. (1/2 gallon drink + hour-long drive home = BATHROOM!) Ash spells her name wrong. Ash also risks death to see MOM. RANDOM APPLES! BLACK! I GOTS EARS! Jane posts for the third(?) time. SUMMER! Jane mysteriously leaves for a month in Vietnam. Ray passes away... (moment of silence) Am to Ash: "Don't worry. There's always more birds in the sea. Wait! I mean, fish in the sky! Argh..."

June: Ali might go to Hong Kong. Ash goes up against the LT transportation system. She loses. Am finds out she has the protein level of a pregnant woman. WestWingCon! (Ash and Am went, so it applies here!) Am leaves for Cali... Olivia goes to the Performing Art Institute thingy at LC and HOBY. ASIAN HEAVEN! ...Am returns! Jane turns 16! No surprise party for her, though... Stupid Vietnam... :P VBS starts with Nathan, Jonah, Marten, Ash, and Am. FAKE LOUIS! Am has "relations" with the devil, but not really. Surprise mini-party for Am!! Am leaves for ICON on Evan's birthday.

July: Ash cleans her room, much to Am's surprise and pleasure. (But will it stay that way? We shall wait and see.... Nope!) "Oh, I'm Chinese/Korean/Japanese/etc., but I have a French name and an American mommy. She sent me on a cruise in the Atlantic and left me here. I've been rejected... twice!" Am loves her future adopted children. Surprise party for Am! King Arthur! Jane goes to California. Ap scores: Ash, 2; Am, 4. Ash does all the girly stuff and highlights and cuts her hair. (Am is soooo proud of her little girl!) July 19th happens. Am = happy! Jane adds her input, just not on OMAS. :P Am gets hit on for the first time since St. Louis. Am goes to Ball State. (Ash would interject some *ahem* comments here if she were present.) Ali gets a job.

August: Strawberries and Bananas- Er... Pineapples!! Good-bye party for Jane and Ali. "Fine! No noodle fo' you!" Am goes in to fix her kidney. (All that pain for an undecided result. GAH!) Ash rushes to Riley when Am passes out. Everything gets better. School starts. Interdisc rocks. JEKYLL AND HYDE! Am gets hit on several more times. (Is there a pattern here?) Some people break up, some people break down, and then some just breakdance! WOO! Brewing kidney diseases suck.

September: Am's car gets keyed again. Olivia sings, and then sings some more. Evan and Ash go to a wedding reception. Am renews her Billy Gilman obsession. September 10th happens. :P Jane hates most people. Interdisc Walk-a-Thon - Burger King, searching for Crousore's car, Beth is from Czechoslovakia. People hate physics.

October: Am and Ash go to Homecoming. 200th POST! October 11th happens. :( Ali takes a self-defence class. Halloween party at Ash's! Ash, Evan, and Jane in the bathroom. Hmm... Trick-or-treating with William, Ash, and Lee. Everyone loves a Communist!

November: Am continues being depressed. Bush wins! Ash's mom goes through medical stuff. Christmas shopping with Jane, Ash, and Ali! HELEN KELLER SONG!

December: Am gets much more depressed, so what does she do? PLAN A PARTAY! WOO! Fun newsroom post! Am gets sold as a slave, and Jonah's a cheap slaveowner! So there! Ali posts from Hong Kong! New Years' Eve = Evan with his head in Am's lap! HAHA! (For some unknown reason, Am's mom believes they're dating, anyway.)

WOO FOR 2005! We kinda dwindled around the end of the year, didn't we? Hopefully that will change, especially with me fully back in the swing of things. I'm doing better, I promise. :P SO BRING ON THE NEW YEAR!
